Our Story

Salon Essence was co-founded in 2008 by Alicia Hansen and Krystal Egland with a shared vision: to create a salon that blends creativity, community, and a truly enjoyable client experience.

Over the years, the salon has grown and evolved—moving through three different locations on the Monroe town square before finding its current home. Each step of the journey helped shape what Salon Essence is today: a modern, vibrant space designed with both comfort and style in mind.

Today, Salon Essence continues to build on that original vision—bringing high-quality services, on-trend techniques, and a welcoming atmosphere to the Monroe community and beyond.
